Found what appears to be a knock-off of (roughly) a Sennheiser
hardshell windscreen on eBay. It's interesting because it's a complete
kit - shock mount, windscreen, handle, assorted adapters for various
sizes of mics, the whole shebang. Total cost is about $140 US and even
with shipping, it's under $200. It's not a long blimp (total length is
16") but it looks like it should be about right for my AKG 568, which
is my workhorse shotgun. I found it by searching "microphone
windscreen."
Anybody have any experience with this item? It's being sold through an
Indian company as well as an Australian company; it looks like it would
be a pretty good deal, but then again... who knows?
Anybody?
