Another good point. What I mean is that you should be able to maintain your
original songs on any CD (and not on the computer) or on any computer (and
not only on one computer). Good catch again!

Hmmm... Freely downloadable, installable, and usable without charge. The
Apple iTunes software fits under that category.

Thanks for honing the iPod users' bill of rights so we all benefit.

One of the beauties of not being an iTunes insider is that I don't have any
preconceived notions restricting my vision of what a proper use model
should entail.

It reminds me of the famous Orwellian Apple commercials - only Big Brother
is Apple iTunes in this case. Ironic.
