Actually, Autoplay is another feature I hate dating all the way back to the
VCR. Immediately playing the movie is NEVER the action I want. I want the
time to get back to the couch, get comfortable, turn out the lights, get the
popcorn out, make sure the anti-salesman howitzer is activated and
everything else, and *then* start the movie. And I don't want to have to
race my own DVD player to get those done. And the spin-up time to initialize
a new DVD is psychologically long enough that I usually do that in advance
anyway.

I want the default action on a DVD to WAIT FOR MY COMMAND to do anything,
including starting the movie. Don't do anything else (a little screen motion
to avoid image burn-in is acceptable though I think most DVD players already
have screensavers.)
