I never used it as a desktop machine, but kinda liked the newer media centre
features. Unfortunately it ran dog-slow, with constant disk thrashing :( on
top of that, the tv-out functionality of my nvidia card wasn't working
properly which also hampered my enjoyment.

I'll try again in 6 months and see how things fare.
