When you wrote "Intel" and "PC" did you mean Microsoft Windows? You're
correct that the Final Cut products only run on Mac OS, but they now run
on both the PowerPC (G4/G5) architecture and the Intel architecture. I
use Final Cut Pro on both.

If you're tied to using Microsoft Windows, you should consider Vegas
Video. That seems to have the best features and highest reliability for
the price.
