I only had this DRC8040 3 months and it already died. The funny thing is I
only used it once a week. Bad design, it overheats and shuts off for no
reason, it freezes up for no reason, the S-video input died for no reason.
Now I gotta take it to an RCA service center and be without a recorder for 3
weeks. I guess paying only $130, I got what I paid for.
