Under the Avid brand they now have an unassailable market share.

Before the merger Avid were beaten into a very distant second place
behind Pinnacle followed someway back by Apple then Premiere and then
Vegas/Edius et al vying for a few percentage points at the rear.

I don't know what current figures are but would assume they are little
different.

It would be interesting to see the Avid product breakdown given that
Pinnacle Studio had a 51% global market share prior to the merger. 51%
'kin 'ell!!!

Just goes to show there is no accounting for taste...
