A while back I posted a question on this forum, looking for information
on using an external hd monitor. It was suggested tht I get a quadro FX
540 from nvidia (which is also on Adobe's approved list). I bought the
quadro, then had to also get a new motherboard that accepts pci
express. I haven't been able to vie hdv footage connecting to the break
out box. Tech suopport at Video guys and nvidia gave me no solutions.
Do I need some other kind of card or piece of hardware? We'edit on
Ppro with Cineform aspect hd. This set up is working fine, but the only
way I can view edited hdv footage now is exporting the timeline back to
my camera tape, and playing the camera through the hdtv.
Any suggestions?
