I have a series of student films saved to a dvd disk and I want to capture
parts of some projects to create a short video of segments from each film.
I tried capturing from the dvd drive into Premiere Pro but Premiere's
capture would not work. I also tried playing the dvd on an external dvd
connected by firewire to my computer, but Premiere's capture did not get any
signal from the dvd playing in through the firewire so I still could not
capture any material.
Is there a way to capture some video footage from a dvd in Premiere? Is
there some other workaround to capture dvd footage into a video editing
program?
