When I called lite-on They said They'd mail Me a cd to upgade the
recorder, but that it still wont except the 16x speed discs, but onlt
that it would except more brands of dvd's. Today I got the cd with the
firmware upgrade, and after the upgrade I tried putting in a 16x disc,
and now it does except them.
