Not quite. AACS is being dismantled right now. Did it happen faster
than the DeCSS being disembowled around 2000? I think it did - weren't
DVD's out for much longer before the crown jewels were hoisted? Nice

PS - never ripped a DVD before so don't call me names. I have no
interest in pirating, and am only an amused spectator watching the
