I have a Denon 1920 and a Sky HD box BUT only 1 HDMI port on the TV

My question is - on the front panel of dvd player is button marked "HDMI"
and each press gives the following off, 480 570 720 1080 etc which is fine
when connected via HDMI to the TV

BUT if I use COMPONENT connection instead will the DVD player upscale the
image? The reason I ask is that when using COMPONENT and have DVD palyer
set to output "component interlace" the TV only says its receiving either
480 or 570.

Is the only true way to upscale via HDMI then??

It seems difficult to tell sometimes if the pic is much diff either way
sometimes

Thanks normally ok with all this but this time its a tad confusing - must be
gettin old ;-)
