I did answer your question. From what I can see this machine has no
record facility. I know he was being sarcastic but if the manual
doesn't state that you can record then you can't record. Did they tell
you it was a recorder when you bought it?
When you see a list of compatible discs for players it will state
things like DVD-RW but that doesn't mean they can record to them.
If you can't find information for recording in your manual and
honestly thought it was a recorder then ask if you can return it and
swap for a recorder.
