Microsoft announced at CES that they plan to expand their drive into a
standalone HD player, for all those grownups who can afford to buy one
for their living room but don't play Splinter Cell on X-Box.

Although ATM, it's not player availability or cheapness that seems to be
the problem for HD...On the contrary, it's way too easier to buy a
player as compared to Blu, we're just not all sure yet whether we WANT to.

....Wow, how did *that* become part of the Urban Legend in only 24 hours?
0_o??

Read the real article again (and at least twenty-four more fanboys will

COULDN'T FREAKIN' AFFORD IT!!!!!

(And besides, we've already beaten the "VHS was a *lonnnnggg* time ago
before the Internet, Grandpa!" argument into the ground already, several
threads back. Learn to Google.)
