Still don't see the point - music isn't like "every other file" - It's
music!
I put all my music files in just one folder, then use the utility of the
moment to catalouge it.
Ten years ago it was Real Jukebox today it's iTunes.
I don't understand why anyone would want to split all their music into ever
cascading folders! I couldn't be bothered to spend ages searching for
indivedual songs any more, first by artist, then by album, then by track.
Then what if the song you are after in an obscure compliation album?

What I mean is - Sometimes I want to listen to let's say Jazz but not all of
one album/artist is nessesarly Jazz. Sometimes I want to listen by Tempo -
that can be a real menagerie!
As far as I am concerned the iTunes way of playing music with their 29
parameters, unlimited genres and shuffle play is the greatest advance in
music since the 78 record.

Still each to his own :-)
