Yes, you did.

Exactly. THAT is exactly what you said. Hey, dufus. The "active
layer" is the polymer layer the laser makes pits on. There are NO
discs made with the active layer on the bottom.

You can't change your totally wrong argument to a simple semantic
error. It won't work.

I never, EVER said that.

Actually, it isn't. The site has errors, but that is for another
argument that it appears we will soon be having. The active layer,
the one the laser makes its marks on, is just under the top coat,
which is not a polycarbonate plate. The BOTTOM of the disc is the
only place a polycarbonate plate is located.

The discs on that site are stamped disc nomenclatures. That is
production disc, not recordables. They ARE sandwiched.

A recordable disc is a different animal than ANY that were on that
page.

Again, you do not know what you are talking about. I'll say it again
One should NEVER use a solvent that attacks plastic on an optical
disc. PERIOD. In the BEST case, even if it doesn't hit the
recordable active layer, it can STILL cause the plastic to vulcanize,
and become crazed or delaminated , even if the effect is not
immediate.

You are one hard headed dude. You must be an old man. It took the
work of others to show you a push button click site before you would
even believe anything. A younger person would have moved his own ass,
and done some research on his own.
