Hi All,
I Ihave a Liteon LVW 5025GHC 80GB HDD DVD recorder. I am very impressed

and have been using it since the summer when I brought it. I am now
trying to put some bits onto DVD.

First off, I realise my mistake as I thought this wrote to dual layer
disks. Ok - purely my fault - this model doesn't (although some of the
larger capacity HDDs do in this range).

My main problem at the moment is I can only write 2 hrs 6 mins (or
something close to that figure) onto a DVD.

I thought this model could fit to any size disk (assuming even a CDR,
albeit at a low quality). Even the user manual suggests I should be
prompted to record it at a lesser quality to fit to disk.

What am I doing wrong. In August when I brought this, I downloaded the
latest firmware and installed this. How can I write greater than 2hrs 6

 mins to a 4.7GB DVD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, this is a sexy
looking unit and I highly recommend it otherwise!!

 Cheers,
