I just bought a Nexxtech DVD player from Circuit City, but am thinking
of taking it back because it got pretty crappy user ratings on their
website. So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a decent, compact DVD
player that won't break down after using it 5 times or something. The
space I have to fit it into is only a little over 12" wide, so I'm
looking at the compact ones that all seem to be priced between $25-40
from what I'm seeing. All the ones I'm seeing that are that size seem
to be "no-name" brands like Durabrand (Walmart), Trutech (Target),
Nexxtech (Circuit City), etc. My friend got a small Magnavox one from
Sam's Club a few years ago, but they don't have it now.

Any input, recommendations, advice on what to avoid, etc.?
