Once again, it's lack of standards in software, I've never used a newsreader
besides Outlook express (which most don't even consider a newsreader)
so I personally don't understand how bottom posting is easier, since I click
down the row and just read one reply after the other, Never having
to re-read the question again, and avoid having to scroll.

But....apparently, real newsreader software DON'T function like this? I
never tried another program. So top posting is counter intuitive to how the
original system was designed to be used and read. Correct? So since bottom
posting has been standard since beginning, it's Microsoft that is to blame
for making Outlook Express would differently and causing never ending
arguments ever since on news servers all over the world ever since.

That is exactly why I decided to just bottom post, as I said, no one EVER
criticized me for bottom posting.
Something to think about. But we love to blame Bill, LOL

Couldn't a program be written that automatically moves the reply to top or
bottom depending on preference?
