Incorrect.
144 HD-DVD releases:

vs. 130 Blu-Ray titles:

I forgot, new stuff comes out today...

HD DVD 154 vs Blu-ray 137.

That same logic says that people should be buying UMD movies. After
all, there are close to 20 million PSP's out there... Oops. Nobody is
buying them for UMD movies.
The problem for UMD, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD is the same. The title
selection sucks. Until there is a Matrix level killer ap we won't see
one format eclipse the other, much less eclipse DVD. When will that be?
Spider-Man 3 on Blu-Ray sometime in 2008? I don't think either format
will last that long unless there's a killer ap before then.

Irrelevant since they can't seem to actively produce 50GB discs.
HD-DVD 3 layer discs are now at... 51GB. Intentional? You bet.
