Try ports 563 and 443
These are SSL ports, rather hard to block without getting everyone in
a huge uproar. Most people say to keep above port 1024, but there is
no reason not to go to any port set that works.
Here's the opinion part:
So what if you're not getting secure HTTP, or not getting secure
newsgroups, they work and that is all that matters... er.... right?
Your ISP probably isn't using packet sniffing (?), but the easier
download/upload ratio checking. Try telnet ports too, they are
expected to have a closer DL/UL ratio.
