Well, apart from obvious design issues (you usually find out about these
if you scan the web for user reviews) the big problem with these
inexpensive Chinese players is poor quality control. Generally, if you
"get a good one" it will probably last long enough to give a reasonable
return on the $30 or so you spend. So what the heck - buy at a store with
a liberal return policy (e.g. Target is 90 days) and if it survives an
initial torture test, hang onto it.
