ROFL. The fact you think Usenet and enthusiast forums somehow represent the
interests of consumers at large invalidates every point you might attempt to
make. Come back when either format has, let's say, even 10% market
penetration. We won't be hearing from you for a while.

BTW I happen to have Blu-ray and HD DVD players in the form of a PS3 and an
Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on. But unlike you, I have enough perspective to realize
that just because I'm jazzed about the technology doesn't mean Joe
Lunchbucket with his standard def TV even knows what Blu-ray *is*. And these
are the people who must be won over for either format to succeed.
