Hi

Are there such things (available in the UK) as

1 A DVD Recorder which is expandable to include a hard disk drive as an
when I can afford to put one in?
2 A half decent DVD Recorder for about �50?

I've had a look at the Cambridge Audio DVD53+RW which is multi-region but
only has one scart socket (not sure how important that really is) and the
salesman in the London Bridge store seemed to be trying to put me off by
telling me it's slow (Slow? Slow how? If it records and plays back at the
correct speed then how can it be slow?) but even that is �20 over my current
budget.
