I'd personally stay far away from this device.
From the specs:
Output : FireWire - uncompresssed image data stream without audio.
No audio?? WTF??

Video formats: PAL/NTSC, RS-170/CCIR
The colour standard has been RS170A for about 30 years or so !!

Square pixels: yes
What about the rectangular pixel format of 0.9091 for NTSC DV or 1.0926 for
PAL DV?
Guess they don't rate.

Max resolution: PAL: 768x576 at 25 Hz
NTSC: 640x480 at 30 Hz
NTSC DV is 720 x 480 and PAL DV is 720 x 576.
Guess that doesn't matter either :-(
