I hope that I am posting my question to the right group.

I like to computerize my Karaoke DVD collections and run into problems.
While I can clone the DVD (using a software call DVD-Cloner), I am
unable to convert the DVD into MPEG files. I am using the software
from www.dvd-to-divx.com to do the conversion. When I try that, it
created a mpeg file for the top menu only - nothing for the chapters.
Interestingly, it can actually play the DVD (using it's preview
feature) but it doesn't create anything for those chapters.

May be I shouldn't do the conversion? The DVD-Cloner software can
extract and store the entire DVD onto hard-drive but I have not been
able to find a software that can play DVD from harddrive.
