Indeed. You're simply tilting at windmills, while yelling about
vanquishing giants or something.

The data doesn't conclusively support your claims. Even though BR may
have edged out HD-DVD for a month:
1: We're talking a very small difference.
2: You don't draw a conclusion based on a single instance.
If you knew anything about statistics, you'd know that. At best, you can
say "BR appears to have a slight lead after 2 months." but unless you have
a crystal ball or a newspaper from the future, you can't make any
conclusive statements about which will win.

One instance of a 5% difference is not a "trend". And even if this
"trend" of Blu-Ray edging out HD-DVD by 5% were to continue, a 5%
difference isn't a definitive victory. Heck, it'd barely be
distinguishable from statistical error.

That still means nothing since next week HD-DVD could have more
announcements than Blu-ray. What then? Should I come back here and
proclaim that, based on one data point favorable to my opinion, this
"trend" means Blu-ray will lose?
Were that the case, then Blu-Ray was losing for 5-6 months while HD-DVD
was making announcements while all Blu-Ray could say was "Maybe in a month
or two..." After all, even 1 title is greater than 0 - which is what
Blu-Ray had up until late 2006, so OBVIOUSLY, the trend is that Blu-Ray
LOST - right?
