My standalone Pioneer multiformat player (DVD, CD, SACD etc) supports
MP3 audio discs.
I've made several MP3 compilations using Nero 6, and they've played
with no problem.
However, I'm trying to burn a compilation of old radio shows and every
time the Pioneer reads it as an MP3 disc, but when I press 'play' it
comes up with the message 'unplayable'.
I've tried halving the number of files I place on the disc; it makes no
difference.
A typical file says it's 'compression 11 to 1' or '9 to 1', and is
'Mpeg2 Layer 3', with 'encoded by FhG (fastenc or MP3enc).
Is there something in that info that suggests why I can't encode an MP3
audio disc with these files? Do I have to recode all 94 of them to WAV
format and reencode to a different MP3 file? Help please.......
