So far more people have wanted to buy HD-DVD players. Maybe its the lower
price, maybe they like Universal or the Weinstein Company or New Line, maybe
they like the better picture quality(so far), maybe they have a Xbox 360,
maybe they want their regular dvd material to have the best up conversion
possible, maybe they like porn...get the picture. The Blu-Ray is spiking only
because it just came out recently. Who would want to watch The Fifth Element
in Blu-Ray when it looks like ass compared to the regular sd version up
converted on the 360 or Toshiba stand alone!??!!! I have both so I want both
to make it and have all the great things that come with competition. Do you
think Blu-Ray would have gotten its act together with compression if HD-DVD
wasn't around? Having both I can say that HD-DVD is better right now as far as
quality is concerned. That is what I care about...the picture on my tv.
