Depends on your jurisdiction - in Australia you would be committing a
criminal offence. As a business owner you would be guilty of a copyright
breach no matter if you destroyed the original - the actual 'act' of making
a copy is illegal for companies or businesses unless the owner of the
original can prove copyright ownership. A private individual may record off
air for his own use and may play back once and then must delete! like yeah!
but that's the new copyright act in Oz
