That's why I think it's foolish to buy one. Combo players will make the
PS3's blu-ray playback, or the 360's HD-DVD playback, rather pointless.

But once the combo drives come out, they'll become the no-brainer choice
and their prices will drop - fast. Much faster than the PS3's price,
which will leave you with an expensive game system that can't play HD-DVD
movies, and doesn't have much of a game library. At best, the blu-ray
playback capability of the PS3 should be considered a secondary feature -
a bonus.
