The desired Ch 36 is KNBC-DT from Los Angeles. Their analog signal
is Ch 4 and it never comes in well on Ch 4. When I can get their digital
signal locked, it's usually 15 dB above threshold -- plenty.

Unwanted Ch 36 is KDTF-LP -- a Spanish station, Univision, I think --
aimed toward the southern part of the county, where I am. See the
station's data at http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/tvq?list=0&facid=13022 .

I can null out KDTF-LP using two identical antennas a half-wavelength
apart. These antennas were a jury-rig, mounted to PVC and not at all
suitable for permanent mounting. I built it to see that it worked. It did,
so permanent construction is planned (along with everything else).

I have heard varying reports regarding whether such analog LPTV will go
off at the same time as the higher power analog stuff. (If the date is so
squishy, then other provisions probably are, too.)
