You've been posting Blu-ray movie sale for the past few weeks, and I am
wondering; how does this affect the PS3? Even if Blu-Ray were to suddenly
become the choice for HD movie sale, what would that mean to the average
consumer not owning a PS3?
Do you actually think that HD movie enthusiasts are going out to buy a PS3
to watch their movies. Are you aware of the actual amount of TV owner's
ratio of analog TV to HD TVs in the world (other than Japan).
Are those who buy the PS3 buying it for the sheer fact that it is a HD movie
player?
It seems you're only posting BR sales to HD-DVD sales now to compensate for
the lack (if not almost total lack) of interest in the PS3 as a gaming
console. I mean, with all the great games it offers along with the great
online content, as well as the non-Live ability to play games cooperatively,
chat and download content at the same time, etc, you are making a great case
for the PS3.
Or are you now playing your PS3 (which is readily available just about
anywhere now) as a movie player, (spending thousands of dollars on BR
titles) seeing how fast you can watch the content, its forward/reverse
viewing abilities, image capturing etc. Hmmm, must be a very successful
movie playing console, in which that is why everyone is clamoring to the
retail centers to get it now for just that purpose!
