After the management shakeout at Universal (the only exclusive hd-dvd
studio), there has been strong speculation that GE (the parent company
of Universal) is thinking of selling its entertainment units because
of its weak performance.

If so, this would explain the paucity of new Hd-dvd releases from the
ONLY hd-dvd exclusive studio.

So, the rumor mills are starting that Universal is set to become a Blu-
ray studio as well, effectively killing hd-dvd.
