There are internet services that store your data - to varying degrees of
confidentiality and cost (no privacy: free on youtube!) Your ISP
probably offerssome FTP storage space (couple of gig) and many groups
will sell you more. I don't have further specifics, but what I'm saying
is that personal ownership of 'media' is increasingly unnecessary and
expensive.
