This seems to have turned into an LP vs SP tirade, but that wasn't the
question. Let me restate, begging your patience.

1. Has anyone experienced sound dropouts in Mini DV, even at the SP
speed?

2. Has anyone tried the Firestore hard drive recorders to bypass the
tape problems?

3. If so, how did you archive your shoot after downloading to the
computer?
