Hi all,

I've recently bought a BBC dvd which only features subtitles in
English (for the hearing impaired). Does the collective wisdom know
of a method to:

* rip these titles from the DVD (retaining the time slots, preferably)
* edit the titles (in this case: typing a translation instead)
* merge movie, audio and subtitles flawlessly onto a blank disc?

I've done a newsgroup search, but I don't quite seem to find what I
need. Thanks in advance for any help.
