Are the skips in the same place in different players?

Have you tested the songs when taken out of the albumwrap? Use alba to
extract.

Have you tried burning a CD, does that skip when played in a standalone
CD player?

If you are sure the skips are in the mp3, run copies through mp3trim with
the clean-up advanced option selected.
