You are obviously out of your league in this discussion.
There are literally dozens of 7, 8, 9 and 10 inch screens that are DVD
compliant.
The dimensions you describe, besides being of the wrong orientation, meet no
known NTSC or PAL standard that I know of. I suspect COBY found a cheap
source of data grade 7" displays and is foisting them off as LCD players.
Again, I am happy that *YOU* like what you see...but I would never own such
an abomination.
