Yeah... I know this is a horrible question. But having a combo
solves certain problems. It takes up less space and I have already
explored other options.

Is there such an animal that is region free and able to play PAL
discs
on a NTSC TV? and it a combo?
Forget about VHS. This set will only be used to play DVDs
potentially
from other parts of the world, no recording.
