Most likely people are buying it for Virtua Fighter 5 which is also a
new release. But jumping from 20,000 to 40,000 isn't statistically
significant when Sony claims to have shipped 1,000,000 units to Japan.

Doubling their sales only means they have 25 weeks of stock instead of
50 weeks of stock. The sales in Japan are pathetic, a lot like your
posts here.
