OK, here's what I do...

I get most of my music from Napster, it's all DRM'd WMAs. When I
started downloading from them I didn't know what DRM meant. When I
let my subscription run out, about a month later none of my music
would play. I was like "WTF" I paid for this shit. That's when i
figured out what DRM was.

So, I rejoined Napster, got my licenses' renewed and went on a search
for a "file converter". I figured somebody else must have had the
same problem and did something about it. I must have downloaded a
dozen or more converters, they all say they'll convert WMA's to MP3's,
what they don't tell you though is that they won't touch a DRM
protected WMA.

Then, finally, I downloaded a shareware version of "tunebite". It
plays the WMA through your sound card and re-records it as an MP3.
Same quality as the original. The best 25 bucks I've spent in months.
