You know, I do believe you're right. I'd been misled by Richard's
reference to "what patch ... on the patch page" (see way down, as all
previous posts were correctly bottom-posted). The page in question (
http://www.winmxgroup.com/downloads.html ) actually refers to " WinMX 3.54b4
+ Patch " which would seem to indicate patch included. Since I'd had
winmx on mycomputer for ages, i just gave him the site I'd downloaded the
patch from. Richard, if you're still paying attention, don't worry about
"what patch" . . . .
