does final cut pro support imovie format? i have a ntsc imovie project
(with subtitles) that i want to convert to pal format. i also have a
dvd menu made with idvd. is it easier to convert with final cut pro,
since i have access to that on a friend's macbook pro? i tried to do
it in imovie but it takes too much hd space and time (importing,
making sure the clips are in the right order). but then i wouldn't
know how to made the dvd menu in final cut pro.

i've tried exporting as a pal quicktime avi clip then importing back
to imovie pal project, but the subtitles and titles look a bit fuzzy.

any ideas on this?
