I am having a problem burning dual layer discs. My player is an LG
GSA-4160B, which is capable of burning DVD+R DL at 2.4x. I am using
Verbatime DVD+R DL discs (8.5GB, burnable up to 8x).

However, when trying to burn using Windows Vista it does not recognise that
there is a disc in the tray, the same problem with Cheetah Burner, and
BurnToDVD states that the media is incompatible.

This problem has also occurred with a different DVD+R DL manufacturer. Any
ideas?
