Funny Blu-Boy should mention it, btw, accdg. to Digital Bits yesterday:

Next up [3/27], the Blu-ray Disc Association has finally mandated that
all Blu-ray Disc players sold after 10/31 this year must be fully
compatible with the BD-Java spec, which includes the ability to play
picture-in-picture video. And it's about time. In our opinion, the BDA
should have mandated this from the very beginning. The lack of this full
compliance is what's caused studios like Warner to hold back some of
their IME titles on Blu-ray (including Batman Begins and The Matrix
Trilogy), and it's the one real technical area where Blu-ray is
currently lagging behind rival HD-DVD.

(Whew--I was all set to buy one this summer, but looks like I can save
my money for Christmas, so I can get one that works...Thanx, BDA!) @_@

Derek Janssen (I'd also post the item about Toshiba dropping their
HD-DVD player prices in April, but that would be pushing it)
