I sent them a nasty email with these very remarks. They actually
hurt the chances of HD DVD with this extra profit crap. The dual
format title releases cost them $0.50 more each to make, but cost us
$8 more each to buy.

Do they actually think their target market is folks that don't have
HD DVD yet, but intend to UG in the future?

I think it is sad that over the years the inner liner notes have
even disappeared.

I have also bought two titles in one month that were scratched, and
HD DVD does NOT tolerate it. ALL of my optical discs from LD to DVD
to HD DVD are ALL pristine, mint condition items.
