YES I am aware of that, but it's hardly the point.

For example, I was saying to a British person on another newsgroup that
I liked Asian women. I asked if there are many Asian women in London, as
I might be moving there.

He could not comprehend what I meant... even when it was explained to
him. He insisted that because Indians are Asian, I would of course like
Indian women too.

Another issue that I would like to raise is, think of the differences
between Asians in the US/Australia and "Asians" in the UK:

UK: Asian (pakistani etc) immigrants are often muslim, hostile to the
western way of life, pro-terrorist reject intermarriage.

US/Australia: Intermarriage is common between whites and asians, women
are good looking, nicer religions or non-religous.
