I have several .m4p songs on my old computer that I would like to
listen to on my new computer, in my car, etc. I tried using Itunes to
burn the .m4p songs to a CD, but I got a message that none of the
files could be burned to disc. I know there is a limit of seven times
that I can burn a song/playlist to a CD, but this was just my first
attempt. My old computer is sitting forlornly in the living room,
with no internet connection....I'm wondering if the computer has to be
connected to the Internet before Itunes will allow burning. I would
think the Itunes software 4.7.1.30 could track the burning process to
make sure I don't exceed the allowed number without being connected to
the internet, but maybe not. I don't feel like dragging the computer
back into the room with the DSL connection to verify this though.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, other than the obvious of
never buying another song from Itunes again. :-) The instruction on
creating an audio CD from music downloaded from Itunes seemed very
straightforward when I first signed up...I guess I should have tried
it to make sure that it would work.
