Just had to format my HD, now reinstalling xp and can't get my alcatel
speedtouch usb modem to work. After installing the software the modem
appears to sync as the 2 green lights come on and the green symbol on
my desktop.But the connection just hangs at checking username and password.
It appears as if the pc sees the modem as part of a network not connected to
the internet.I have used this modem and software for a couple of years with
no problems.Any ideas.
